In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
